Watercolor Classes
“Natalie’s classes are so informative and they’re a ton of fun. I’ve been several times, and I’m looking forward to more. She is a very talented artist and teacher - you’ll leave with a love for watercolor.”
Expressive Watercolor
Tuesday, August 18th

Expressive watercolor combines blind contour drawing with color impressionism. The result is a beautiful, loose, and lively semi-abstract artwork, and just as important- stress reduction for the artist: YOU! Expressive watercolor is perfect for beginners, and advanced students will learn to hone their eye for line, color, and value. Even if you have taken this class before, you will exercise new skills and leave with a completely different painting!
Klimt-Inspired Watercolor Garden
Tuesday, September 15th
10am-12:30pm
at Leu Gardens in Orlando
Have you ever wondered what Klimt’s floral masterpieces would look like in watercolor? Join us for a fun morning as we explore watercolor through the lens of Gustav Klimt’s garden paintings! I’ll guide you step by step through painting sunflowers and poppies in a wild garden exploding with color. We’ll practice layering, color-blending, and softening edges. Whether you’re new to watercolor or already have experience, you’ll learn new techniques and go home with a lovely watercolor painting!
“Natalie Brooks is a wonderful teacher! I have taken other watercolor classes, but I learned more in one class with Natalie than I did in an entire series of classes with another teacher. Natalie has a gift for putting students at ease and for inspiring them to take risks and grow. She is patient, supportive, and encouraging. If you are hesitant about trying something new, but really want to learn how to paint, Natalie is the teacher for you. She is a warm, friendly person who shares her expertise with grace and humor. I can’t wait for my next class with her.”
